Unify the Politicians
We go through life with a basketful of assumptions that we've accumulated through observation and trial and error. Although many assumptions are correct, some are false. One such false assumption is that the struggle between the political left and political right in America is like a swing swaying back and forth with no preferred direction.
It turns out that the political struggle is actually a national debate over the two opposing views of human nature. More specifically, the political debate in America is a tug-of-war between Spring Theory and Gravity Theory.
Incredibly, this realization has gone unnoticed — until now.
It will be helpful at this point to review the political terms society uses and how the new terms Spring Theory and Gravity Theory fit within the political spectrum. Consider the illustrations that follow.

We have assigned arbitrary colors to the boxes for easy identification in the following illustration. Each color represents one specific view of human nature.

Spring Theory is synonymous to the Left View and "the utopian view of human nature". Likewise, Gravity Theory is synonymous to the Right View of human nature. We will see these terms used interchangeably, but Spring Theory and Gravity Theory are more intuitive and less politically affronting. Therefore, they are preferred.

A box comprised of just one color indicates that 100% of the people within the associated group ascribe to that particular view of human nature. A box divided (featuring two colors) indicates that some members within the associated group ascribe to one view of human nature while other members ascribe to the other view. The percentages are rough estimates made merely to suggest the way the featured group is likely to be divided on the two views of human nature. The point is that Spring Theory is not exclusive to the political left and Gravity Theory is not exclusive to the political right. Still, while there are some Right View thinkers on the political left, there are more Left View thinkers on the political right.
It is important to understand that not everyone on the political left ascribes to Spring Theory. Likewise, not everyone on the political right ascribes to Gravity Theory. This explains why members of the major parties can be so divided on even major issues.
The political left is comprised of some Gravity Theorists because several groups have banded together against those on the political right. Likewise, the political right has many Spring Theorists because several groups have banded together to further their individual goals against the political left.
Application
We now understand why America has developed significant social problems. For over 70 years, elected representatives and administrators have been fashioning public policy and social programs according to the wrong view of human nature. Doing so has caused cracks to develop throughout our nation's foundation.
Because Gravity Theory is correct, a political ideology based on Gravity Theory is correct as well. Likewise, a political ideology based on Spring Theory can only be detrimental to America.
Amazingly, our elected representatives and administrators have overlooked the obvious. Rather than argue over public policy and how to structure social programs, they should stop the bickering long enough to learn which view of human nature (Spring Theory or Gravity Theory) best describes the general nature of human beings.
This analysis reveals another hidden truth. The goals of the politicians are identical. Only their respective views of human nature differentiate them. Every candidate wants affordable healthcare, lower taxes, safer communities, stronger national security, more effective education, and so on. They disagree only over the best way to achieve the goals in which they all agree.
Ultimately, every decision we make is based upon what we believe to be the general nature of human beings.
If we are serious about saving America and maximizing our national potential, we will need to retire Spring Theory absolutely. Like magic, incorporating Gravity Theory (the correct view of human nature) into the design and implementation of public policy and social programs will repair our social problems, resulting in the fortification and preservation of America.
If members of Congress fulfill their obligations and responsibilities, they will evaluate these ideas in a public forum. Upon concluding that Gravity Theory best explains the nature of human beings, Congress must inform the public and then apply the correct view of human nature when designing solutions to America's social, financial, and political problems. If they adopt Gravity Theory and apply it correctly, they can turn America away from the cliff. If instead they act irresponsibly and allow special interests to interfere with their obligations and responsibilities, we can expect more noise, division, inefficiency, and debt until America runs headlong off the edge.
The Patriot Party will promote Gravity Theory while exposing and discrediting Spring Theory. We must be successful in doing so if we are to save America.
