The Patriot Party

  
The Patriot Party has but one goal: to fortify and preserve America so future generations will inherit the same blessings bestowed upon us.

  
The political system as it exists now is causing America to fail.  Adding another trillion dollars of debt every three years assures that America will collapse economically within our lifetime.  If we don't act now, it will soon be too late to save ourselves.  The choice before us is not whether or not to participate.  The choice before us is to participate or let America fail.  If we truly love America and our children, we simply have no choice but to take action now, regardless of the political fallout.  Like fighting disease, inaction always leads to regret, and sooner is always better than later.

  
The Democrat and Republican Parties will suffer only if they do not redirect their efforts to solving America's social and financial problems.  To date, their primary motivation has been to gain and maintain power, even if at the long term expense of America.

  
Every goal stated in the Patriot Party Platform will be achieved if enough loyal Americans stand up, step forward and fill the seats of Congress with Patriots.

  
The Patriot Party is founded on a comprehensive theory that explains human nature.  In its full form, this new theory is called The Theory that Explains Human Nature.  However, for public consumption, it has been summarized and given the label Spring-Gravity Theory.

  
— Spring Theory says that, unlike the animals, human beings are predisposed to self-elevate and seek a higher level in society.  According to Spring Theory, people perform poorly because the inequities of society compress the spring like quality of human nature.
— Gravity Theory says that the rules of nature apply to human beings just as they do all the other animals; that human beings become motivated only when they are uncomfortable.  Moreover, like gravity, people will follow the path of least resistant to resolve their discomfort. Conclusion:  Spring Theory says that removing obstacles and establishing minimum standards of comfort will free people, allowing them to rise up.  Gravity Theory says that making people comfortable will cause them to become lazy, self-indulgent and dependent on society.

  
The people who rise up and perform admirably do so only because they have elevated goals.  People with lofty goals are uncomfortable from not yet achieving them.  Following the path of least resistance to achieving their goals (resolving their discomfort) requires "the achievers" to self-elevate and choose admirable behavior.

  
For over 70 years, Congress has constructed social programs according to Spring Theory.  Our elected officials have systematically removed social hindrances because they believed that people would rise up if they were freed from the burdens placed on them by society.  Unfortunately, human nature is not like a spring.  Once people become comfortable, they become lazy like every other species on this planet.  Moreover, because it is the fastest and easiest way to comfort, people become dependent on government and disgruntled if denied.

  
We must abandon the idea of establishing minimum standards of comfort.  Applying Gravity Theory will retool our social programs so that their sole purpose is to insure survival.  Any measures of comfort will need to be earned.  By removing all measures of comfort from social programs, people will have to do something to resolve their discomfort.  Because crime is the quickest way to resolution, people will become inclined to break the law if we remove the comforts from our social programs.  This necessitates that we remove all comforts from prison as well.  If we do, the only way to resolve discomfort will be to perform admirably.

  
Humanology® is the science of understanding human nature.  The trade name Humanology® was registered over 15 years ago to uniquely identify the application of The Theory that Explains Human Nature to various aspects of life, including relationships, health and vitality, personal and professional skills, and government and society.  This revolutionary new science is revealed in a series of books.  Although they are individually titled, they are branded with the Humanology® label.

  
The Patriot Party is a non-profit Florida Corporation.  As a charitable organization, it is owned by the public and run under the supervision of a board of directors.

  
Don Magyar is the founder and chief architect of the Patriot Party.  Several years ago, his research and analysis revealed that America would self-destruct in our lifetime if the Democrats and Republicans were allowed to conduct business as usual.  However, he was hesitant to launch the Patriot Party for fear of splitting the Right View vote.  Then, simply by applying Spring-Gravity Theory, he devised the "Bidirectional System."  The Bidirectional System will break the two-party monopoly, enable third parties to compete without splitting the vote, and insure the will of the citizen majority is honored.  In addition, the Bidirectional System will encourage all political parties to work on behalf of America rather than targeted groups.  Finally, the Bidirectional System will eliminate the excessive money, noise and vitriol from politics by making campaigning unnecessary and irrelevant.

  
You can help qualify the Patriot Party for inclusion on ballots in the respective States by joining the Patriot Party.  Because the Patriot Party does not conduct primary elections, you may retain your present party affiliation and still become a "Patriot."  Joining the Patriot Party simply indicates you have signed a petition stating that: (a) you are not satisfied that the political process has degenerated into two parties wrestling for power, (b) you expect the political party you support to do what is right for America, not modify policy to win elections, (c) you want to open the political process to where a variety of platforms can compete for popular support, and (d) you want to cast your vote for the platform of your choice without destroying the major political party to which you are most closely aligned ideologically.

  
You should go through this website thoroughly and completely.  Learn as much as you can because your role will be that of a 21st century "Minuteman."  We don't mean to be corny or dramatic, but those who would destroy America are on the attack, and word of mouth is the way to muster enough support to repel them.  Beyond spreading the good news, you can help by articulating accurately and effectively the information contained in this website.  Patriots who know intimately the Patriot Party Platform and the strategies it employs will serve as the educators and leaders during the "Awakening" — the final transition in America's history (see the "Roadmap" graphic in the "Issues" section for details).  To become truly an expert on these matters, you should study the books The Essence of Man and A More Perfect Union.  These books are located in the "Supplies" section of this website.

  
If you want to get involved in management, begin as a Delegate.  As a Delegate, you will be responsible for selecting Patriot Party Administrators and Representatives at the Local, County, State, and National levels.  The names of those selected from your Delegate Team (possibly you) will appear on ballots in general elections once we qualify the Patriot Party in the respective States.  Start from the beginning of the website to learn more.  Do not skip around.  America needs strong and informed leaders.
