Although the following policy measures are strongly recommended, it is the job of Congress to work out the details regarding their implementation. Sending Patriots
to Congress will insure that special interests will not come before America.
Understanding Human Nature
The culture war in America and the division we see in Congress are consequences of a hidden agenda — a battle over which view of human nature describes the general nature of human beings. An analogy to the familiar forces "spring" and "gravity" helps to differentiate the two opposing views of human nature. The following question frames the debate.
"Does human nature push us upward like a spring, predisposing us to perform admirably (Spring Theory), or does human nature pull us downward like gravity, predisposing us to perform poorly (Gravity Theory)?"
At some point, humankind needs to settle the "Spring-Gravity" debate. (See the "Strategy" link for more on Spring-Gravity Theory®.)
We will assemble the greatest minds in the country from every relevant discipline. After an exhaustive public discussion, the experts will reveal the following truths:
Note: After twenty years of research and analysis, we know Gravity Theory is correct. Though some researchers will initially resist, the outcome is certain and the truth will eventually become regarded as fact.
Conclusions
— There are two (and only two) possible views of human nature;
— The term "Spring-Gravity Theory" adequately frames the two views;
— Spring Theory is wrong;
— Gravity Theory best describes human nature.
The accepted view of human nature, called Spring Theory, is wrong. It's application for over 70 years has caused our social problems. We can fix them by incorporating Gravity Theory into our public policies and programs.
