Gravity Theory is a theory of human nature. It explains the general nature of human beings. Gravity Theory is in direct opposition to another theory of human nature called Spring Theory.

Spring Theory became popular in the 1930s because it seemed to explain the amazing accomplishments of humankind. Being complimentary, Spring Theory was quickly embraced by the media, the public and Congress. However, a new understanding of human nature reveals that Spring Theory is incorrect. This explains why Congress has been so ineffective, and why the national debt is in excess of 15 trillion dollars. Congress has been working from the wrong theory of human nature.

By retiring Spring Theory and applying Gravity Theory when making public policy, America's social problems will evaporate. As we repair America's social institutions, balancing the budget and paying down the debt will become possible. 

The application of Gravity Theory is the first of two strategies advocated by the Patriot Party. A second strategy is needed to fix America's political problems.
