At the present rate, America's national debt will exceed 20 trillion dollars within 20 years. If we don't stop the bleeding now, America's financial system will collapse within our lifetime. The consequences are unthinkable, beginning with hyperinflation, the hording of foods and supplies, black markets and the cessation of “free” government money for dependents.
With millions of people destitute and hungry, our cities will burn and armed gangs will roam the streets. Once the local stores are looted and destroyed, the gangs will raid the suburbs. Essential goods and services will become scarce, resulting in starvation, violence and the death of family members, neighbors and friends.
If you think we're exaggerating, you aren't a student of history. Every great nation before us has fallen and each time it wasn't pretty. Believe it or not, America will not last forever. One day, America will fail. The only question is when. If you think it is OK for America to fail within the lifetime of your children, then you don't really love them all that much.
Every election cycle we hope that Congress will change course and do what is necessary to restore, fortify and preserve our great nation. Instead we get politics as usual — more talk, committees, empty promises and debt. The problem is not the people or their intentions. The problem is two-fold. First, the Democrats and Republicans maintain the two remaining monopolies in America, resulting in a corrupt, inefficient and expensive political process. Second, they are working with the wrong view of human nature.
In the 1930, Congress adopted Spring Theory, yet Gravity Theory explains the nature of human beings. Like performing mathematical calculations while using the wrong formula, members of Congress have exacerbated social problems for over 70 years. Their assumption that Spring Theory is correct has made the public more and more reliant on government for food, shelter and medical care. Cultivating generations of dependents increases expenditures while reducing tax revenue, accelerating the debt and the end of America.
The entire world is dependent on the success of America. A failed financial system at home will render America impotent in the world, resulting in global conflict, untold human suffering and the end of environmentally friendly policies and practices. We simply cannot let this future happen.
To date, all we could do is hope, be patient and put our faith in the system. Yet hope is never an effective strategy, playing wait-and-see has proven to only get us deeper in debt, and trusting those who have never succeeded defines us as being part of the problem.
We have run out of time for patience and understanding.
Our children and America need us to act now... before it's too late.
