Letter from the Chairman
Time: Tuesday, October 14, 2008 4:50 PM
Subject: Why the Democrats and Republicans will never fortify and preserve America — and what you can do about it.
Dear friends, family members and associates,
To date, all we could do is complain about how America is heading in the wrong direction. In this short letter you will discover why the Democrats and Republicans have failed us and how we can put America back on the road to health and longevity.
Like rooting at a football game, we're all excited about who is going to get elected this time. We hope our team wins, but will it fix America's social, financial and political problems? If you've been paying attention for more than two decades, you know the answer.
We are united
We may be divided over the political party we tend to support, but all of us are fed up with the billions of dollars wasted on pork and ill-conceived programs, the generally unappreciative dependency class, our dangerous inner cities, our problem prison population, the light sentences and early release of violent offenders, our nation's woeful academic performance, the still uncontrolled immigration problem, the dilution of our American culture, the consistent massive yearly deficits, and the over 9 trillion dollar debt the Democrats and Republicans will pass on to our children and future generations.
The problem
Every businessperson knows that success requires a plan detailing one's goals and strategies. Without such a plan, failure is assured. Yet the Democratic and Republican Parties continue to work without a specific plan (called a platform).
Why the Democratic and Republican Parties don't have a plan
The Democratic and Republican parties are comprised of several special interest groups. Some of these groups are dependents, unions, the various ethnicities, socialists, globalists, internationalists, anti-war activists, pro-choice and pro-life proponents, big oil, academia, the military industrial complex, the religious right, the green movement, and so on. Each special interest group has its own unique agenda. Rather than go it alone, these smaller groups gain power by huddling under the Democratic or Republican "umbrella."
Because each special interest group has their own unique agenda, the Democratic and Republican Parties cannot put forth a unified plan for fear of offending one or more groups. To keep their various special interest groups huddled under their "umbrella," the Democratic and Republican Parties have abandoned the good sense business practice of adopting a specific plan of action (called a platform).
The consequences of not having a plan
The absence of a party platform forces candidates to distinguish themselves from their opponents. Rather than simply stand on their party's platform, they must wage individual campaigns featuring their own individual ideas. Moreover, each candidate must hire speechwriters and image makers and support massive organizations. Their continual need for more funds and voter approval forces every candidate to wage a street fight and to make promises that are unrealistic or even harmful to America.
It is only because the Democratic and Republican Parties operate without a specific unified plan that the political process has become noisy, costly and divisive. If the parties would each put forth a specific guaranteed plan, citizens could simply read and compare them. Suddenly, there would be no need for speeches, debates, shaking hands, kissing babies, making deals, or spending millions on commercials, phone calls and direct mail. The absence of party plans leads directly to a political system of lies, half-truths, empty promises, personal attacks, opening closet doors, and a "let's make a deal" balancing act where candidates promise public charity in trade for votes and financial support.
Representatives are their own political party
Even after being elected to Congress, because Democrats and Republicans are not committed to a specific plan of action, they are not able to muster the support needed to pass the legislation necessary to fix America's social and financial problems. They share a common "umbrella," but they represent different agendas. In a very true sense, Democratic and Republican representatives perform as individual political parties, each with a membership of one.
Consequently, the only benefit that can possibly come from voting for a Democrat or a Republican is the thrill of beating the opposing "team." Of course, after the contest is over and the euphoria wears off, we realize we are exactly where we were before the election cycle began — a corrupt political system, a divided citizenry, massive deficits, and unresolved social and financial problems.
Note: To qualify, political parties should be required to publish a platform stating their goals and strategies. (Platforms should be void of tactics because Congress is the place to hammer out the details.) Also, representatives of the various parties should be required to honor their party's platform. With just these two changes, elections would suddenly become about selecting a plan rather than the next batch of disjointed rock stars.
America is in trouble
Besides the enormous waste of money and effort, time is running out. Every independent government agency and leading economist will tell you that America is like a runaway train heading for the cliff. If the proper change in direction is not made within the next few years, America will collapse financially resulting in a Mad Max scenario. We say we love our children. It's time to prove that we mean what we say.
The answer
A new political party has been formed to reverse America's deteriorating civilization. It is founded on a certain guaranteed plan of action. In addition, this new party's representatives are obligated to support the party platform if they are to retain party affiliation.
Because this new party is platform driven and because its representatives stand united on the party plan, they have no need to campaign, fundraise or pander for votes, ever. These features immediately take the big money out of politics — something the Democratic and Republican Parties have never been able to do. Imagine, a political party that prohibits campaigning, fundraising and pandering for votes. Freed from continually seeking money and voter support, the new party's representatives can focus on one special interest — the health and longevity of America.
This new party is resolute in its commitment to do whatever is necessary to fortify and preserve our great nation. As such, it is appropriately named the "Patriot Party." Armed with a comprehensive set of blueprints to fix America' social and financial problems, coupled with a smooth and efficient Delegate system for selecting party representatives, the Patriot Party is poised to take the nation by storm. Our formula for success is simple: The unmistakable ring of truth, a restless citizenry, the power of the internet, and you.
The difference between the parties is clear. The Democrats and Republicans will continue to talk about America's social and financial problems until America fails. In contrast, Patriots will fix them, all of them, simultaneously, now.
What you can do
We need you to help register the Patriot Party in your state. Although Patriots will not compete in the coming elections, we will be primed and ready for action in 2010 in the event the Democrats and Republicans let us down once again. By signing a petition that doubles as an application for membership, you will be sending a message to the Democratic and Republican Parties that time is up — that we are all out of patience and understanding. Membership in the Patriot Party is free and registration includes membership in the Patriot Club, a fraternal organization with local chapters.
Your participation will cost you nothing but 3 minutes of your time (and you can even keep your present party affiliation). Together, with one collective voice, Patriots will fortify and preserve America, insuring the safekeeping of our children and future generations. Over the next few weeks, like cream rising to the top, Patriots will distinguish themselves from those who are content to complain.
One more thing
The few hundred people receiving this email are like "seeds" of the Patriot Party. Imagine if you forward this email to everyone you know and they do the same. If you do the math, within just 7 generations of emails (taking only a couple of weeks), over 100 million people will be made aware of this exciting new development in the political spectrum leading to a balanced budget, a plan to pay down the debt, a commitment to lead the world in education, the adoption of English as our national language, the end of uncontrolled immigration, protection of our one American culture, and the general fortification and preservation of America.
The following graphic summarizes the goals, features and practices of the Patriot Party. It may be downloaded, copied, printed and passed around.
Enough said. Directly below is a link to the party. On the front page is a flash video that explains everything you need to know. As one of only a few hundred "seeds," your feedback and participation is critical. With your input, we will sharpen our delivery and reach millions. Either way, best of health to you, your family and America.

Afterthought
If you email me indicating that you have forwarded this letter to at least 20 people you know, I will add you to the "founders list." Once the Patriot Party is registered in all the states, you will receive a frame-ready certificate recognizing you as having been instrumental in the Patriot Party's formation and success.
